What’s wrong with me for waiting so long to watch this K rom-com drama ??
It’s worth the wait !!
Tues 2 July 2019
Decided to stop work at 8.10 PM and went for evening jog. Then watch my first ever episode of ‘What’s wrong with Secretary Kim’ (it’s actually Episode 8). It’s hilarious with the main lead being so sure that he’s very good-looking and Ms. Kim must be having a serious crush on him. Definitely worth watching.

Watching What’s wrong with Secretary Kim E1 on the phone at night. I know immediately I’m going to be hooked because it’s hilarious and Kim Mi So is just right for Vice Chairman Lee.
Sun 14 July 2019
Watching What’s wrong with Secretary Kim E2 at night.
Sat 20 July 2019
Had binge watching session of WWWSK in the afternoon even though I should be working. Did close to 2 hours of work after that.
Had binge watching session of WWWSK in the afternoon. Was watching Episode 10, 11. Shed lots of tears. These two episodes finally revealed what happened in the past (the kidnapping episode, how brave Sung Hyun was to protect Mi So, and Mi So’s mom who passed away while Mi So was still young).
It was worth using up 75% of my 4 GB weekend internet quota. He’s definitely the epitome of the perfect narcissistic guy (and he knows he is – why can’t I be less perfect – he asked his own reflection). He looks so good in his formal suits outfit too. Tall, suave-looking and just perfect for the selfish and narcissistic Vice Chairman Lee role who has a soft spot for Ms. Kim.
Tues 23 July 2019
Went for evening jog before having late dinner and watching WWWSK on TV. It is at Episode 10 where Vice Chairman Lee is convinced he will be able to charm and convince Mi So’s sisters that he is the perfect husband for her.

At night, settled down to watch WWWSK on my phone. I have used 100% of my 4G weekend internet quota due to WWWSK…
Sat 10 Aug 2019
At night watched the final episode of WWWSK. Sad that it’s the last episode but definitely not sad that I decided to watch it as there are many hilarious moments and I’m actually rooting for the OTT narsissistic Vice-Chairman Lee.

Rewatch E1 of WWWSK. Vice-Chairman is widely admired but he is so in love with himself and absolutely convinced that he is absolutely perfect that he’s unaware that he’s also arrogant and not easy to work with.
His mother is concerned about rumours that her son doesn’t even let his girlfriend (it’s a business arrangement he assures Secretary Kim) touch him. ‘Is he….gay ?’ she struggles to ask this question. On being assured that he is not, she then tries to hint not very subtly that she would be happy if her son has a girlfriend like Secretary Kim.
At the same time, his father is also not very subtly telling him that he wants to have grandchildren before he dies, that he might not have long to live. Being asked are you going to get married, VC Lee replied bluntly no and told his father that he is in perfect health and in no danger of dying soon.
However, he is most perplexed with Secretary Kim’s sudden resignation. When she finally told him that she would like to leave her job which requires her to work day and night, meet someone and get married, he told her, ‘In that case, you need not leave. I will marry you.” End of E1.
Aug & Sept 2019
Rewatching all the episodes and enjoying the hilarious moments as much as I did the first time round. One of my favourite scene is the library scene.
Other favourites: VC Lee’s jealousy when she went out on a blind date. I also like the sports day episode where he was seething with jealousy and then injuring his ankle.
My verdict: This fabulous Korean drama is worth using up my weekend Internet quota (4 GB) and watching it 2 times (or more).
